I first met Matt Lambert at Radiant Pavillion, Melbourne’s Jewellery Biannual in 2019. Matt was in Australia as a visting artist at the ANU School of Art and Design Jewellery and Object workshop, where I was graduate in residence. Matt is one of the most exciting contemporary jewellers and if you are unaware of their work I suggest taking a look here.
In May this year, Matt invited me to be featured in Lost in Jewellery Magazine, a new International Art jewellery showcase. Lost in Jewellery Magazine is the official online magazine of Mydaybyday Gallery in Rome, Italy. Matt has been invited to write an ongoing column, where they have been give carte blanche freedom to explore the question of what is the setting and finding of particular streams of investigations of different artists works. I am delighted to be the third artist featured!
