h beam
Copper, enamel, rubble, 2017.
58 x 20 x 14mm
Drawing on building materials that form our urban city scape, H-Beam is a distorted miniature after the same name. Created from copper, the surface has been enamelled with experimental enamel crystals, this is placed next to a piece of rubble collected from a city building site.
The distortion, the rubble and the fused vitreous crystals represent the never-ending cyclical cycle of change.
